EARLY CHILDHOOD: The last of seven children born to Josephine Brown and Reynaldo De Los Santos, Nile was born in Crowell, at the local hospital.
EDUCATION: Nile attended elementary school in the Crowell Independent School District (CISD) from the first through tenth grades. After his Mom died in 1987, Nile went to live with his sister in Horton, KS. He completed his education, graduating form Horton Hig School in 1990,.
MILITARY: Nile did not serve in the Military.
CAREER: .Nile learned OTR truck driving from his brother-in-law (Pete Osks) driving with him until he was fully qualified. He then obtained his first job with a trucking firm in Horton, KS. Eventually he was able topurchase his own truck, which he then lease (including himself). He later sold his truck and went to work for FedEx. In 2004 he was diagnosed with a serious heart condition which prevented him from hard physical work or exercise. This condition was such that he was not able to work. So he became a stay-at-home Dad to help raise his children while Cara went back to work outside the home.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Nile loved shooting his guns and going camping with his kids, Especially enjoyed going to the annual camping reunion in Crowell, He also enjoyed four-wheeling in his ATV. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys on TV. He was an active member on several boards of thr First Baptist Church in Horton. He also served as a part-time deputy in Horton.
MARRIAGE: Nile met Cara Susanne Smith. while attending school at Horton HS.They were married at Horton, KS on September 2, 1995.
