EARLY CHILDHOOD: Antonio was born in Alpine, Texas to Selso Nu�ez and Ignes Casas. He had five brothers (Ben Nu�ez, Rudy Yrugeas, Joe Yrugeas, ) and three sister (Maria Velasquez, Susie Nu�ez, Cata Nu�ez,). His father died in 19xx and his mother remarried?????(not sure about this)
EDUCATION:
MILITARY: Antonio (US38066212) served in the US Army's 21st Quartermaster Company. He was inducted in March 12, 1941 and released in September 19, 1941 just before the attack in Pearl Harbor. He was recalled to active duty and was later injured in a jeep accident just before his unit was to be deployed overseas via Hawaii, and could not accompany his unit. During the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941, his unit was entirely wiped out. He was discharged in Pedelton Field, Oregon in January 21, 1943.
CAREER: He spent his growing up years working as a part of the family group working in the Valley and later the North Central parts of Texas. area. After his marriage, he worked helping clear up pasture lands for cultivation. Later his family was growing up, they worked as a family unit working in the cotton fields in Stamford and then Paducah, Texas. By the time they had moved to Altus, they had started going up north to Colorado to work in the beet fields during the spring and summer season, sometimes staying until the fall. When they returned home they worked the cotton fields. They did this from about 1956 through 1967. The latter years they also went to work in Kansas. In his later years Antonio worked at _____________________.

MARRIAGE: Antonio met Gregoria Valladares in the early 1930's. In 1937 they decided to live together and later married on October 26, 1940. They were married by the Justice of the Peace, G.M. Brijan, in Benjamin, Texas.
