While in school he participated in the junior and varsity basketball teams, playing ___ position. He had dreams of playing in college and the NBA, but decided to join the Navy instead.
MILITARY: John joined the US Navy (USNxxxxxxxx) in 199X after graduation from high school. He went to ---for his basic training and later to ____ for his advanced training. He was transferred to ________for his ___ permanent duty. HE traveled to ________as part of his official duties. He was honorably discharged in xxx Xx, 199x.
CAREER: John spent six years in the US Navy working as a ___ and traveling to various parts of the country and the world on an aircraft carrier.
