BORN: He was born October 10, 1942 in Crowell, Texas.

EARLY CHILDHOOD: Rual was born in Crowell (Foard). He is the fourth of nine children born to Jose Rios Brown and Josefina Valladares. During the summer of 1954, the family took a trip to work in Wisconsin picking cherries, coming down towards Illinois to work in the tomatoes fields picking tomatoes. During the next 6 years, from 1955-1961, he went with the family to work in the beet field in the Greeley, Colorado area from about May to September/October of each year. During that time, while in Crowell, he worked odd jobs, hoeing cotton in the summer and picking cotton in the fall and winters. Other times were spent mowing yards, and hunting rabbits with some of the guys who had dropped out of school.
EDUCATION: He attended elementary school in the Crowell Independent School District (CISD) from the first through eighth grades. . He graduated from grade school in May 196X
MILITARY: Rual did not serve in the military.

MARRIAGE: Rual met Louisa Rangel in Vernon, Texas about 196X, they were married on xx/xx/1967 at the Vernon courthouse by the Justice of the Peace.
